I am in the process of compiling information for another story.  I don’t know which medium the story will occupy, but that’s more or less irrelevant.

The short summary is that someone is trying to make a mixtape for his best friend, and rather than just downloading all the music he wants, he goes on a quest to find what he needs.  In my head, it’s rather like Broken Flowers in certain ways.

I am going to make the mix in question first and write the story from that.  With that in mind, I would greatly appreciate anyone who would put in their two cents as to what music you would want on a tape from your best friend.

It seems that I have finally got past my annual winter malaise when it comes to writing. Every year since I’ve started writing scripts, I’ve taken a four-month reprieve from any kind of creation from late October to the beginning of March or so.

I wonder why that is?

In any case, I’ve stepped up the search for an affordable camera so I can actually make one of my shorts, which I will use to get funding for a longer film, which I will use to become a STAR!

Oh, wait, it’s not that easy? Damn.
